Tony Knight trained as a Dental Technician at Guys Hospital London. Qualifying in 1979 he worked in the Restorative Departments at both Guys and Kings College Dental Hospitals while studying the Advanced Crown and Bridge Course at Lambeth College. He opened his own lab in 1982 and worked with some of the pioneers of U.K. Cosmetic dentistry, completing his first Porcelain Veneers in 1986.

One of the first UK labs to adopt many new restorative materials including IPS Empress, Artglass, Authentic Pressed Ceramic and Everest Zirconia his laboratory has co-operated with Dental Manufacturers, the Royal London Hospital and The Eastman Dental Hospital on material and clinical research projects.

In 2004 his laboratory was given The Probe / B.D.H.F. Dental Laboratory of the Year Award followed by the Private Dentistry Best UK Laboratory Award in 2005.

He runs the laboratory with his wife Dorothy and has two children.
